Pacifika Paintings!!

This term our topic focus is New Zealand art and we have chosen a Pacifika theme to look at in the year 1/2 classes. In Room 4 the students have done some beautiful paintings based on a Pacifika landscape. We read lots of Pacifika stories and looked at Pacifika images. Students were then asked to paint a Pacifika landscape which included the turtle, the hibiscus flowers and korus or Pacifika patterns. Come in and check out Room 4s awesome Pacifika artwork!!
